Help your Terrier thrive in everyday life
What is Terrier Training Club?
Terrier Training Club takes place in six week blocks consisting of three secure training field sessions to learn and practice new skills, and three public location sessions to put those skills into practice. The public location sessions can include heading to a cafe and practicing settle outside, group walks in different locations, and doing hunting games in a forest or woods.
We work on everything from focus, loose lead walking, recall, disengagement to distractions, predation training, settle training, and carry out fun training games and challenges together.
We also have a supportive community of Terrier guardians!
Ongoing monthly training and support outside of classes
We are all about building skills to help dogs thrive in everyday life, and not just in a training class. We have ongoing monthly training classes to teach skills, public location sessions to put those skills into practice, and a Terrier Community WhatsApp group to post updates, offer support, and keep you on track with your daily goals.
Why is Terrier Training club different from a regular training club?
Public location sessions
Transfer the skills learnt during the secure training field sessions into real-life environments around distractions such as dogs, people, traffic, and wildlife
Learn to work with your Terrier in a way that works for you and them
Terriers were bred to work independently from human direction, so they can struggle with regular obedience training
Supportive community of Terrier Guardians
